(Decision Update!) Need Help Fast! 360 CS vs. 360 Spider vs. 430 F1

Update: Thanks for all of the feedback. I bought a 2006 F430 Spider. 2000 miles, Red with Black and Tan Interior. 6 Speed. Immaculate condition. Stock wheels are on the car and they included a second set of Modular wheels with tires. I test drove the crap out of two 360 Spiders and a 2007 Spider F1 with Ceramics. In the end the car I bought was the one I enjoyed the most. I just like to shift. I had paddles on my M6 and the novelty wears off on the street. I never did get to drive the Stradale. It wouldn't start.

I pick up the Spider in 3 days. It's going to be 74 in New England this weekend. I can't wait.

Hi,

I'm a Porsche guy, who's getting ready to jump into his first Ferrari. I'm looking at 3 different models>

2004 360 Modena Spider, Red with Tan/Black Interior, nice options, with 8000 miles

2004 Challenge Stradale. Red, with Black/Red interior. +$15k over the 360 Spider. With 15,000 miles

2007 430 F1, Red with Beige Interior with Black Stripes. Daytona Seats. +$40k to the 360 Spider with only 2700 miles

This car will be a weekend driver. 98% Street Car. I have my Porsche GT3 for track days. All 3 cars will have major service done as part of the purchase price. All 3 cars have great paint and minimal wear on the interior.

My questions:

1) Is 15k too many miles for a CS? Supposedly one owner, no track time and meticulously cared for.

2) The 360 Spider is very nice all around, but will I want a 430 after driving it a while?

3) Is the 430 worth $45k more over a 360 Spider?

Heading to the dealer Sunday morning to make my choice.

+1. And you should have some warranty left on the F430 since it's an 07....

I'd take the CS if I was gonna keep the car long term (and I would), or the 430 if I was just gonna drive it and dump it.

sound advice. there is no particularly bad option here.

For everyday use, confort, speed, reliability I'd take the F430 all the time.

For the charm and fun I'd take the CS,and even for the value..

you have to drive the cs and 430 and see what you like. i have never liked the twitchyness of the 360 so would discount the spyder straight away.
