Warning: NEVER test drive a Scud!

My neighbor has a yellow Scud...he thinks it is too rough & too noisy, he had an F430 before that. After having the GT2, I wouldn't want those seats for everyday driving.
It is sexier then sexy though...

My first impressions when I got the car were it was too quiet and tame next to my old CS. I removed the vacuum lines to the exhaust and I'm much happier with the roar at low rpms. You're right about the seats, much less comfortable than the CS seats, I'm now dreading my Vegas trip next month.

I put the mannetino in the second to last position, then hit the shock button to soften the ride and it was smooth as heck. Putzing around, it was quiet, smooth and very easy to drive. Perhaps not the grocery getter that the 997tt is, but every bit as usable.
Get on it, however, and it's absolutely, stupidly thrilling. Silent until 4k rpm, then gorgeous deep sound. Way more fun than the tt when whipped.
Very different. More accessible, easier to drive, easier to use but not as ultimately fast or sexy sounding as the cgt.
The best description and use of the cgt akin to a roller coaster. Half hour is more than enough.
Edit: the scud that I drove was yellow with black interior. All carbon and yellow stitching and accents. Yellow horsies in the head rest. It borders on luxurious.

Your tastes run a little more raw then the 430 Spider could possibly give you. Unfortunately you're finding this out afterwards........that said, the Scud is a beast.......but I warn you..........DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES DRIVE THE 16M!

there is no comparison!!! To me, the two cars are in a different class.
