I requested the old pieces when I picked up my car today. The dealer said that I need to wait a month and if Ferrari does not request it after that time, then I can have it. I told them to tag it so it doesn't disappear. If they give it back to me I'll send you one of the panels.

Btw the cost, if I had to have paid, was $17k for the panels with labor.
Ferrari is also replacing my air boxes...another $7k.
Thank goodness for warranties.

As of now, the U.S. is doing nothing about the Pirelli issue per FNA. They said it's a Pirelli problem and not theirs. Not sure how true this is but I was told the recall is from a couple of isolated incidents in Europe/Mid East. A couple of cars driving between 250-300 kph for 15 minutes or more had rear tire blow outs on the Corsa tires. I guess the additional down force is heating the tires up too much. My next door neighbor owns a small tire store chain and I've asked him to talk with Pirelli and see what's up. It certainly makes you think before you hit those speeds.

Good question. I would think it would be unless the rest of world has different heat shields than were put on the '08's. You can check and see if your dealer knows about campaign #307, but that might be a number just for FNA.

I'm not sure but Tim's car looks perfect along with all the 16M's I've seen. Their exhaust is situated a little differently I think?
