Ferrari paint

Hello, all.

I am in the market for 360 and am trying to learn as much as I can about these wonderful cars before I purchase one. I am trying to find out what the Ferrari paint qualities and properties are.

Are they as soft as the modern Porsche paints or a little more durable like the Japanese paints? Do they have a typical clearcoat thickness that will allow for semi-aggressive polishing if need be?

As I look at different examples, I want to know if I find a 360 in good shape mechanically but which appears a little "tired", can I revive it with a good detail.

Thanks in advance.

The paint is pretty soft and sometimes cars don't even come from the factory with perfect paint. I'm sure you could "revive" anything with a good detail. Good luck!
BTW-I love your Turbo! It looks great!
