grey market euro ferraris all over florida........

was in the market for a ferrari.. saw a 2001 spyder for $110k.... normally going for $140k..

what are the major differences?
carfax reports were REALLY REALLY shady on these vehicles.. mileage discrepancies.

Byan, if you are seeing mileage discrepancies then that is a major Red Flag and you need to avoid them like the plague!!

what happens is quite simple.... they are driven for 'x' miles in europe.. then when brought to the u.s the odometer is converted to a miles instead of the original euro kilomoters.

so somebody right before the car is shipped abroad, can switch the kilometer odometer back... then ship it.. it'll get to the u.s with 'x' kilometers which customs will convert into miles....

stay away
