My favorite piece of carbon

This is a Ferrari 430 ashtray unit, and it is my favorite piece of carbon that we make.

I thought I would share these pics with everyone, because I am always amazed with the ashtray units. "Andre" MAcarbons carbon guru makes each one of these ashtrays by hand, and is the best in the business.

We are the only people crazy enough to make this part in full carbon. These ashtrays are full carbon and light as a feather. They are really a work of art!

Check out the piece and everything that goes into making it.

Craftsmanship right there. We're picking up a Cayman S this weekend... you'll be hearing from me shortly.

And here I thought this thread was gonna have pictures of me.

That ashtray looks awesome. I'd love to know just how much it weighs. As much as a quarter...? Maybe less...?

One question... How does the carbon fiber, the clear coat, and the ease of the moving parts hold up over time...? Any feedback from customers...?

I just weighed it and it was to light to register on our scale, but I'm guessing that it weighs about 1 ounce and that's with the little bolts that hold the lid on.

These parts have held up very well over time, and our customers are all very happy...That's why they keep comming back for more
