As an ex-CS owner, I strongly disconcur

I think the CS is a great looking, very special car but the 430 Scuderia is in altogether a different league -- it's bold, beautiful, aggressive, taut, powerful, lithe .... in short, it's everything a modern Ferrari should be ... Not to take anything away from the CS, which is a great car ...

Anyway, beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder.

Oh, and Kuzi --- I think I recognize that park

Well, as you can see my thoughts are the same as with the 997GT2 compared to my 996GT2... I love the pureness of the predecessor's, Stradale does it for me in every way, but i'm sure the driving experience will be much more rewarding/exhilarating in the Scud of course!

Why argue? If you can afford it try them all.

Indeed! I *love* the Challenge Stradale; it was a very special experience to own one. It's the "dirty slut" you can't take home to meet your Mom.
And I don't want to take *anything* away from that. But, the Scuderia really "does me in" in the looks department. I know that a few of you haven't taken to the looks of the Scuderia yet, and I can respect that -- I think it's one of those things that just needs time. I know that when the 360 came out, people insulted it, compared it to a Toyota, and claimed that the 355 was a *much* more beautiful car. Some of those same people are the ones now that claim that Ferrari took a misstep with the F430, and that the 360 is the prettier car. It's all good, "you pays yer money and you makes yer choice".

You got one coming Paul?

I've been told....from a very good source in not so uncertain words.......that I pretty much have NO CHANCE IN HELL of getting one...........at least not at MSRP. 100k-150k over. Oh well.........after some time in the CGT.........OH how I miss a manual tranny!! I know a lot of us have been back and forth on this exact subject.........especially over on Fchat. But man, I'm telling you.........I don't think I could give up a manual tranny or at least not have one in my stable at this point. And its not about the perfect heel toe, or anything else like that...........its just it feeeeeels so good to shift the darn thing myself and control the revs myself.

Damn, and owning the car's you do?! Crazy practices going on with Ferrari's and newer rare cars :/

I would say go for the Scud only because you have 2 Strad's, meaning give ONE up and have both. If I had a stradale though I wouldn't give it up ad pay 150k to get a Scud, no way!

I agree 100%. Scud will set a new standard for Ferrari just like the CS did 4yrs ago. However, the demands for these cars are much more so than the CS when it first came out. That, to me speaks volumes.
Any case, I hope you're getting one as well Brit.
