Watch a Supercharged Lamborghini Huracán Go Nuts at Willow Springs

By -

And that’s exactly where “Part II: Releasing the Bull” takes us. Except instead of another supercar, it’s met with an Unlimited Class Ultra4 off-roader, piloted by pro driver Jason Blanton. Despite it being “stupid fast in the desert,” Hübinette pits both vehicles against each other at Willow Springs.

At first, the 5,000-pound off-roader might not seem like a match for the hot rod Lambo, but its 900 horsepower, 572 cubic inch V8 makes it a pretty fair fight. After pulling ahead in a quarter-mile, the Huracán battles back and wins by a comfortable 0.3 seconds. Still, Hübinette admits: “I couldn’t hear my own engine” over the desert truck.

Then it all dissolves into hooliganism. Beautiful, beautiful hooliganism. These two pro drivers do what they do best – namely, Blanton goes off-track, and Hübinette takes the Lambo flat out on the asphalt. As the video dissolves into donuts from the two insane machines, it makes us want Lamborghini to come around to forced induction faster. Their cars may be crazy, but they could definitely be crazier. We need a supercharged Huracán yesterday.
