New Video Shows Supercar Pack in 100+ Mph Highway Chase

By -

We have to admit, the trooper who pulled over the supercar pack, Lt. Paul Stricker, was actually pretty cool about it. “Here’s the thing, OK?” Stricker tells the Lamborghini driver. “Our death rate this year is almost higher than it was last year. You guys crash one of these going that fast and racing like you were, you’re going to die.”

“I get it, you guys got phenomenal cars, and they’re built to go fast. Trust me, I get it. But you got to [find] a safe spot to do it. Doing it on a Saturday afternoon in heavy traffic is not the place. Somebody’s going to get hurt.”

We’ve certainly seen much worse. And to their credit, the supercar drivers got off pretty easy. Only seven of the twelve registered a guilty plea. Mostly because police couldn’t prove who was behind the wheel of the other five. The punishment? A few hundred dollars in fines and a couple days of community service.

Still, this incident serves as a nice reminder to take it easy on public roads. As tempting as it might be, unleashing the wrath of your ride should be done on a proper circuit!
