We Spied the New Hardcore Pagani Huayra
The Pagani Huayra is a car built on improbable numbers and stats. It’s body is made up of carbotanium, a weave of both carbon fiber and titanium. The AMG derived twin-turbo V12 sounds less like a shriek and more like an F-22 Raptor throttling up its twin afterburners. The aerodynamics of the car change based on speed, angle, and a whole host of other variables. And the cost of the car without the wheels, engine, doors, paint, and interior is still over a million bucks.
That said, those ridiculous figures are about to get even more ridiculous as Pagani gets ready to unleash a new variant of the Huayra upon the world: a more performance inspired Huayra. Not that 730-horsepower isn’t a performance Huayra already, but according to the company, there is room for improvement. And here we have the first glimpse at what that new and improved car will look like.
While we don’t have any figures or specs on the car yet, be prepared for something that most likely has over 800-horsepower and weighs the same as a small dog. In other words, it’s going to put the hyper in hypercar.
