With 700 fire-breathing black stallions at the ready, this Ferrari 458 Spider is ready to burn it all down in Sin City.

TeamSpeed is rocking and rolling all over SEMA 2018, where the only gamble we make with the sportsbook is how many awesome cars we’ll come across, and we always bet on black.

Or red, in this case. A joke between two friends, Alex Soto of Sheepey Race and Ravi Dolwani of CSF Racing, soon turned into the SEMA debut for the former and his crew. Let us introduce you to the Sheepey Race Ferrari 458 Spider.

According to Speedhunters, the project began when both of them thought it would be funny to drop a $40,000 body kit on a 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider, a car Soto says is “wack stock-body.” The joke would be on Soto and Dolwani, though, as the duo and their crews did just that for Sheepey’s first-ever SEMA debut, and then some.

The kit alone is impressive enough, having come from German body kit builder Prior Design. The interior retains its fine tan leather, of course, but the ECU did receive a tune, one required for the big surprise out back.

Back in the day, the 458 made 500 horses from its 4.8-liter V8. With the help of a pair of big turbos and a massive cooling setup from CSF Racing, that figure is now 700 fire-breathing black stallions booming from the back at five pounds of boost.

We’re definitely impressed with how the twin-turbo 458 Spider build came out in so little time. May we continue to see Sheepey Race rock it at SEMA.
