Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive Officer of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, traveled to Dubai in the United Arab Emirates recently to unveil the first ever Rolls-Royce Boutique.

It’d be hard to call this a surprise. Even though the American market represents big bucks to ultra-luxury marques like Rolls, it’s the Asian and Middle Eastern markets that command more market share and higher-transaction averages than anywhere else in the world. This, along with Dubai’s highly energetic finance sector, was key to opening this exclusive showroom.

The boutique has been created in the same spirit as the iconic brand’s highly successful Summer Studio in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, which has established itself as a celebrated centre of “true luxury” in one of the world’s most exclusive enclaves. Dubai and Porto Cervo will be in direct contact with Goodwood, England at all times, to make sure the company’s patrons are in-tune to everything Rolls-Royce.

“Dubai is an important part of our brand’s success story, and it has been among the top five markets in the world for Rolls-Royce for three consecutive years, placing it alongside or above other markets with much bigger populations. Our success in Dubai and the rest of the world is borne of an intimate understanding of the lifestyle requirements of the world’s most discerning patrons of luxury. True luxury houses like Rolls-Royce must therefore constantly strive to innovate and inspire,” said Torsten Müller-Ötvös.

The Rolls-Royce Boutique will be made up of four different studios. The Inspiration Studio will act as a glorified sales-floor, and will  showcase what is possible to accomplish when working with the marque’s full Bespoke palette, and perhaps an unlimited budget. The Bespoke Atelier will show potential and loyal customer’s what the marque’s lifestyle offerings are like, such as picnic baskets, champagne flutes, and gold-plated everything. The Pinnacle Café is exactly what it sounds like, a high-end bistro. Lastly, the Affinity Area refers to the common grounds of the boutique, were commoners can shop Rolls-Royce items and inquire about the world of ultra-luxury.

While this new boutique isn’t for most of us, it certainly sounds like a pretty swanky place that I’d love to visit!
