Atlanta, L.A. and San Francisco residents can now try out a new Porsche from four hours up to a week.

Trying out various Porsche models is about to get easier for those living on the east and west coast of the U.S. The automaker is rolling out two new pilot programs in the U.S. designed to give customers short-term, on-demand access to a variety of new models. The move expands Porsche’s experimentation with alternatives to traditional car ownership, an idea they’ve tinkered with in the past. It also targets younger Americans who have thus far shunned the concept of owning a car.

Porsche Drive is a follow up to Porsche Passport, which was a monthly rental program. With the new program, customers are able to rent a vehicle for anywhere from a few hours to a week. The program has already gone live in Atlanta. It launches under a slightly different premise in Los Angeles and San Francisco on October 8.

Atlanta rentals are managed by Clutch, who handle customer interaction and service delivery. Customers can reserve a vehicle directly through Porsche via phone, email, or online chat. Once a reservation is confirmed, cars are delivered to the customer’s requested location within two hours. Rental options consist of current model cars from all six model lines.

Porsche Drive pricing starts out at $269 for a Macan or 718 Boxster/Cayman for four hours. The most expensive option, renting a 911 for one week, will set you back $2,909. And those prices don’t include taxes and fees.

In L.A. and San Francisco, Turo manages rentals under a slightly different program called Porsche Host. Specially trained Turo hosts own and rent the vehicles, not the automaker. Interested customers book rentals via the Turo app or website. Rental periods range from one day to a month or more.

If you’re looking to try out a new Porsche, either option gives you a chance to do so without making a long term commitment. And in this day and age, that’s exactly what young folks are looking for in a car!
