Paul Walker Tribute Car Meet Quickly Turns into Complete Chaos

By -

A planned tribute to late actor and car guy Paul Walker devolves into vandalism, fights, and general lawlessness.

Late actor Paul Walker has become somewhat of a mythical figure in the car scene. Partially because of his role in multiple Fast & Furious movies, but also because Walker was a car guy in real life. His tragic, premature death in the passenger seat of a Porsche Carrera GT only added to that mystique. Thus, it’s really no surprise that a couple of California car clubs recently decided to host a special Paul Walker tribute car meet just outside of Los Angeles.

Which seems like a great idea. Not to mention a nice way to pay tribute to a car guy beloved by many. Except, as we’ve seen far too often in the past, large crowds have a way of turning south quickly. And that’s exactly what happened here. Of course, there were plenty of cell phone toting YouTubers on hand to record the chaos so that we can relive it from the safety of our couches.

It all started innocently enough, with lots of cars doing big smoky burnouts in a parking lot. But before you know it, people start jumping on the hood of a security truck and kick in the windshield. They then get into a physical altercation with a guard that goes from shoving to exchanging blows. After that disaster and general hoonery involving some sort of donut competition, police manage to block off the parking lot and start to take control of the situation.

Towards the end of the third video, we can see that several cars wound up getting towed. No word on whether anyone was arrested or injured. But we’re guessing that Paul Walker wouldn’t have been too proud of this massive round of shenanigans that took place in his “honor.”
