Lexus LFA with only 208 miles on Bring A Trailer

Lexus LFA #387 of only 500 is for sale with only 208 original miles on the clock. Is this the finest used Example of the iconic V10 legend?

The Lexus LFA is the last car that needs any sort of introduction. There isn’t a car enthusiast in the world that doesn’t know what it is or what it’s all about. With 552 horsepower pumping its way through a six-speed paddle-shifted transmission to the rear wheels and an absurdly fast-revving V10 engine known to many as one of the best sounding engines ever produced, there’s a lot to be loved. However, only 500 LFAs were made. Interestingly enough, they still had not sold out as of 2020, and three brand new 2012 Lexus LFAs were sold in 2019. Though their base price when new was $375,000, their price has increased massively in recent years. If you manage to find one at a dealership that has yet to sell, you’re likely going to see the markup of a lifetime. That being said, there’s always the used market.

For Example, this Starlight Black Lexus LFA with only 208 original miles is currently for sale on Bring A Trailer. Considering the remarkably low miles, this vehicle may as well be brand new. The pictures included in the auction back that thinking up, too. It looks like nobody has ever even sat in this car.

Low Mileage Lexus LFA Black Interior

Though It’s Nearly Ten Years Old, This LFA Looks Brand New

Like most extremely collectible cars, we understand that most LFA examples tend to be kept in great condition. Furthermore, we’re quite aware that most vehicles of this caliber don’t collect miles with any sort of haste. However, this particular LFA seems to take it to a whole different level. Obviously, one wouldn’t expect much wear and tear with only 208 miles on the odometer. It’s just that, even in the case of an extremely collectible car, one would expect more than 208 miles.

The Starlight Black exterior is complimented with a matching black interior with optional red accenting. Nothing inside this car looks like it’s ever had a spec of dust left anywhere inside it for more than a few seconds. Nothing inside this car even gives the impression that it’s ever been driven. That is, in its own right, a bit sad. Though, in terms of collector cars, this LFA tops the list quite handily.

Of course, from the exterior paintwork to the shiny chrome BBS 20-inch wheels, the exterior matches the interior’s preservation, too.

How Much Will This LFA Cost?

One thing we can be beyond certain of is that this car will stray far from the price on its original window sticker, which is included in the auction. Recently, two Lexus LFAs sold on Bring A Trailer. One with over 7,000 miles and a matching Starlight Black paint job managed to fetch a cool $725,000. If this model’s remarkable low mileage doesn’t go low enough to shock you, you might still be taken aback by the Pearl Yellow LFA sporting only 72 original miles that brought in a whopping $808,000.

Given that this LFA already has a bid of $683,000 at the time of writing, we would not be surprised to see it graze the $800,000 mark by the time it’s all said and done. What we would be surprised by, though, is if the next owner drives it.

Even collectors grade cars were built to be driven.
