Is this the Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Road Car?
Lamborghini’s mass-market offering, the Huracan LP 610-4, feels like it was just launched yesterday, but the engineers in Sant’Agata Bolognese are already working on an upgraded version to keep up with today’s extremely competitive supercar market.
This Huracan test mule seems stock from the outside, save for a few sponsor decals, but closer inspection of the rear reveals two additional exhaust pipes hidden behind a shroud and mesh covering, sitting just above the rear diffuser. The placement of the pipes resembles that of the Huracan GT3 race car, leading us to believe the stock exhaust tips are only there to throw us off.
While we could speculate that this is the Huracan Superleggera, Lamborghini historically waits five years before releasing their Superleggera or SuperVeloce models, making the Huracan too young for the weight-shedding update.
Our guess is this might be a road-going version of the Super Trofeo or GT3 race car, especially with the Blancpain decal on the door and the company’s association with both series.
