But if you’d be fine with simply cruising around a Grand Prix track in a supercar with a professional race car driver behind the wheel, we’ve got just the ticket. New for 2018, the Formula 1 Pirelli Hot Laps program lets spectators, celebrities, and guests enjoy the thrill of a lifetime in a variety of fine machinery.
“The Formula 1 Pirelli Hot Laps programm represents a new opportunity to allow Formula 1
fans to get closer to a real track experience,” said Sean Bratches, Managing Director, Commercial Operations at Formula 1. “The once in a lifetime experience of being driven at speed by a racing driver at iconic race circuits in dream cars is truly unique.”
“Pirelli is proud and delighted to be exclusive partner of the F1 Hot Laps 2018 programm: the
first ongoing experience designed specifically for fans to sample the speed and emotion of onthe-
limit driving from the inside, on actual circuits used during each grand prix weekend,” added Mario Isola, Head of Car Racing at Pirelli.
Both Aston Martin and McLaren are already confirmed as participants, with more manufacturers to be named in the coming weeks. Aston will primarily use the 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged, V8-powered Vantage. Piloted by Aston Martin Red Bull Racing drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, among others.
