Flame Breathers Take Over the Nurburgring

By -

Nothing is more beautiful than an unburnt exhaust flame.

Nurburgring is host to all sorts of sights and sounds. Among the more pleasing sights — apart from the exotica circling the circuit — are belches of flame from their exhausts. Unburnt fuel is the cause of that, and quite honestly, we can’t get enough of it.

Turbocharged cars are the most likely to have this awesome feature, and that makes the GT-R a centerpiece of this video. However there are a few surprises, like a Volvo wagon, and even a Maserati MC12. Trust us, there’s plenty more in the video, as well.

For us at TeamSpeed, we’re happy to see a compilation video from the Nurburgring that isn’t a bunch of crashes and wipe-outs. The ‘Ring is a pilgrimage for many, and we’d prefer to think of it in a positive way. However, we still have to remind ourselves it is called the Green Hell for a reason.

If you have an awesome video from the ‘Ring that you want to share, we’d love to see it. Hot laps are great, or even those funny videos showcasing the strange and unusual vehicles that people are brave enough to pilot around Germany’s most famous race track.
