Ferrari Takes Home Four Trophies from the 2019 iF Design Award

Ferrari Premio SP1

Along with three other awards, Ferrari wins prestigious iF Design Gold Award for the Monza SP1.

Ferrari has always been fashion-forward, unveiling future styling classics with the likes of the Testarossa, GTB Daytona, 308 GT, and the F40. If any of their cars didn’t have the black prancing stallion badge or other signifiers, a random passerby would still recognize them as the product of Maranello, Italy.

Speaking of recognition, the iF International Forum Design bestowed some of its own upon Ferrari at its 2019 edition of the iF Product Design Award, held in Munich, Germany March 15.

Team Speed: Ferrari Monza SP1 and SP2

The biggest prize for Ferrari went to its Monza SP1, which won the iF Gold Award for its minimalist, elegant styling. The take on a classic Fifties barchetta captured the jury’s hearts with looks that are both timeless and futuristic.

Ferrari 488 Pista Spider

Ferrari also took home three awards for the Portofino, SP38, and the 488 Pista, all signifiers of the hard work carried out by the automaker’s own Ferrari Styling Centre, who main mission is to merge aesthetics and technology together in ways only Maranello could.
