Wanna Park a Bugatti in Your Living Room?
Inspired by the curves and style of its cars, Bugatti premieres new home collection at the Milan Furniture Fair.
Bugatti recently introduced their new home collection at the Salone del Mobile 2019, aka The International Furniture Fair in Milan, Italy. Bugatti Home partnered with Luxury Living Group to create the collection. Luxury Living Group has also created brands with Bentley. While the furniture is modern and definitely projects a luxury automotive style, we have to wonder what’s next? A Ferrari fridge? Porsche pans? Rolls-Royce rugs?
At the event, a set was created to look like a home with the furniture pieces on display. “The shared values of both companies–craftsmanship, innovation and design–position both companies at the pinnacle of their respective industry,” Bugatti President Stephan Winkelmann said.
But it seems that this isn’t such a crazy idea as interior design runs in the Bugatti family, Winklemann explained.
“And even looking into the history of Bugatti furniture plays a big role, with Carlo Bugatti, the father of our founder Ettore, having been an interior designer, passing on his artistry to his sons.”
Bugatti Home Cobra Chair limited edition seen in the top image reinterprets the original version designed and created in 1902 by Carlo Bugatti. Only 110 pieces will be offered in the blue and white version. The chair commemorates the 110th anniversary of Bugatti, featuring a “110 Ans Bugatti” logo embroidered on the backrest.
“Everything in the collection, which bears the signatures of two of the most prestigious international designers, Carlo Colombo and Toan Nguyen, alludes to performance, technology, and elegance, essential features of the prestigious Bugatti hyper sports cars,” Raffaella Vignatelli, Chairman of Luxury Living Group explained.
Quality is key in these pieces. Exclusive leathers, rare Sodalite gemstone ( a reminder of the Bugatti blue), marble, and extremely soft high-performance technical fabrics mesh luxury and technology. Whether it is a car or coffee table, Bugatti customers would expect no less.
