Black Badge Cullinan Art Exhibit Coming to the 90210
Opening next month in Beverly Hills, Mark Riccioni’s King of the Night photo exhibit captures Rolls-Royce SUVs cruising storied streets of L.A.
Rolls-Royce’s Black Badge cars resonate with “drivers who connect with the marque and possess willfully disruptive intentions,” says the company. “They seek to subvert expected codes of luxury and create highly custom and unapologetic symbols of their lifestyles. Cullinan Black Badge vehicles were created for this group of remarkable men and women.”
To celebrate the arrival of this transformative vehicle, auto photographer Mark Riccioni was invited by Rolls-Royce to create a photo series of Black Badge Cullinan SUVs greeting fellow automotive subcultures in Greater Los Angeles. He has captured each encounter under the cover of darkness, with the vehicles chosen representing the subculture it belongs to.
“The things that connect us are always more powerful than the things that separate us,” says Riccioni. “And this series is a wonderful demonstration of that. I selected each subculture because it shares the philosophies that inform the creation of a Black Badge Rolls-Royce. From the obsessive attention to detail lavished on a lowrider and visceral power of a hot rod to the bold execution of tuned imports and deeply personal customization applied to ‘brat’-style motorcycles.â€
A gallery of these images, titled King of the Night, will be on display at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, located at 8833 W. Olympic Blvd. in Beverly Hills, California, starting next month. Check out more of the awesome artwork below!
