Better than a Landspeeder: Spring Fest Showcases Darth Vader’s Dodge!
Everybody’s favorite villain needs an earth-bound ride. So, why not this sinister-looking Dodge Challenger?
If there was a poll floating around with the intentions of determining everyone’s favorite all-time villain, you’d probably see a variety of results. These days, characters like Thanos might contend for the title, especially among the younger crowd. But for those of us that have been around for a while, Darth Vader is the beginning and the end of that particular argument.
And if Vader needed a car to tool around in when he’s not cruising in the Death Star, we imagine it would look something like this insane Dodge Challenger we spotted at Spring Fest of LX in Pomona, California.
This thing certainly ticks all the boxes for a proper villain car. For starters, it’s completely blacked-out, including the massive wheels that hold seriously wide rubber. The LED lighting up front makes this Challenger look purely evil too, and we’re guessing the color schemes are customizable depending on your mood. Which, in the case of Darth Vader, is always angry. But let’s be honest. When you live your life on the dark side, that’s to be expected.
Throw in some kickass airbrushing, and you’ve got a car not only worth of Vader, but also some trophies at a prominent show like Spring Fest. In fact, there’s only one problem that we can see. This particular Challenger isn’t a Hellcat, nor does it even pack a base Hemi under the hood. Sadly, it gets by with nothing more than the 3.5-liter V6. But for a guy not exactly known for his speed, is that really such a bad thing?
