Bentley Bentayga and Ford Focus RS Drag Race Is No Call
If you were a betting man and saw a Ford Focus RS lined up at a red light next to a Bentley Bentayga, which one would you put money on? Before watching this video, I wouldn’t know. The RS is the lightweight and nimble contender, and the Bentley is burdened with a lot of weight, but it makes up for that weight with a colossal engine.
Auto Express decided to find out once and for all which one would take the victory, and they used an abandoned airport to put them to the test. Without spoiling things too much, the margin of victory wasn’t even close at all. But here’s the stats: the Focus RS has 6-speed manual, and its 345 horsepower is sent to all four wheels. It makes due with a fairly light 1599-kg curb weight. The Bentley weighs nearly 1,000-kg more, at a whopping 2440 kg. Here’s the twist though, it also has all four wheels putting power to the ground, and dispatches with 600 horsepower from a 6.0-liter W12 twin turbo motor with enough torque to jumpstart Earth, if it were to stop rotating.
David vs Goliath. Watch below to see who wins.
