Porsche 918 Brochure leak!

I'm sorry you're upset with Porsche business model, however it works on mst models. Are the pull tabs really about saving weight these days? Now I agree they won't sell 918 units but they never sold all the CGT's either.

Ok then..so ive had the right amount of time to take this in.
Lets start with the design:
Its German, its functional, its uncomplicated and its lovely. Mad about the martini livery!
Interior: Again its just right, futuristic and perfect in every sense.
Performance: Insane number. But then there is the weight, i could see how this bothers some people, but what you have here is the future, 3l/100km consumption in a 800hp car? i mean come on!, do we even have anything remotely near that?. This will of course weigh abit, with that in mind i still think that its a feat to keep it under 1700kg, and the torque will more than make up for that. I'm pretty sure they could crank 800hp out of that 600hp V8 and shed about 300kg if not for the hybrid tech, but what would it then be? Another low weight fast Porsche, they done that already its not a challenge anymore.
Porsche are wizards so do not expect this to be a slouch around the track just cause it has extra weight, but then again physics cant be denied and the Huayra weights nearly 400kg less and so will the P1 if you believe the rumors.
But then again do i care? Really not, as Porsche showed us last time around with the CGT what they could do.
This car is something more than the other hypercars, its a piece of history, a new approach on supercars. I just wish i had the money to own it, but hell im just happy im around to witness it.
PS
All of this above is valid only if it works out, but i somehow believe it will, the Germans are known for making shit work
And those 918 cars ? hah! to those who don't think they will sell them.
Guess again

3700 complicated (all the hybrid crap) pounds. $700,000 or so dollars. All I see is a wallet raping for cars and coffee bubble wrappers. Leaves me cold and totally uninterested.
A terrible decision for Porsche to have wasted the time and money to develop this albatross.
There is my honest, no BS opinion...

Anyone else find it interesting that all of the sudden a whole bunch of info came out about the 918 exactly 1 year before it's scheduled production date? I highly doubt it's a coincidence.
And damn, this looks so good! Glad to see they didn't change much from the concept. Very good to see Porsche still has their sports car game considering there has been so much focus on four doors for them lately.

yeah this is just the beginning for porsche. im really not sure why anyone could dislike this car? its an amazing look into the future (like it or not) of sports cars and porsche will have this technology trickle down to the lower models like they always do. one of my favorite parts about the greatest overall car company right now, and perhaps ever (in MY opinion).
