Tyrese Is Freaking Out About the Amazing Cars in ‘Fast 8’
“We literally have over $25 million worth of cars in once space.”
If you hear that, and you’re nowhere near an auction house, that’s serious reason to get excited. Those are the words of F. Gary Gray, the new Fast 8 director who also directed films like Straight Outta Compton, The Italian Job, and Friday. Â He recently spent some time in an unbelievable garage of cars for the new movie, a place he called The Toy Shop, and it’s unreal how many cars will make your eyes bulge.
In just a few clips, you see McLarens, the Nissan IDx NISMO, Vipers, Corvettes (old and new), an S2000, a GT-R, a 458, a Bentley Continental, Rolls-Royces, Porsches, NSXs, an LFA, a stanced FR-S, Lamborghinis, Maseratis, AMGs, F-Types, and even a Confederate motorcycle.
Tyrese reposted the video (in terrible quality and poorly cropped) with the caption, “F*** yo garage!!!!!!!!!!!! #F8 shout to director #fgarygray sir you’re smashing this movie!!! My character is killin in the orange Lambo!!!”
He’s talking about the Lamborghini Murcielago that you can see more of in Gray’s Instagram video. The clips shows Tyrese thrashing in the snow like a snow fox looking for its hiding prey.
People are complaining that the movie has shifted to purely high-cost supercars and away from the scene that launched it. But we still see some custom imports in there. And besides, everything has to evolve. Change is good. Deal with it.
Fast 8 comes out April 14, 2017.
