Quality on a budget.

Quality on a budget.
I haven't gotten a new watch in years and would like to pick up a new one. In the past I've never really had anything that nice but my budget still isn't terribly high. I'd like a modern looking piece with a non-metal strap that can be used for both casual and business casual dress. What brands should I be checking out for something in the $700 or less range? Seiko? Emporio Armani? Brooks Brothers? I know this is a level quite a bit below the other watches in this forum but I just need some help picking something out with the highest quality for the money.
Thanks.
Thanks.

for your budget, i wouldn't go with the brands you mentioned...you can get better quality stuff.
i woud look into ORIS. great watch for the price:

or HAMILTON:

I like ORIS watches for their price. Although personally, I would rather wait and get a slightly nicer (about double the price) pre-owned piece that will hold some value.
This way, if you ever get tired of it, you can upgrade at a minimum loss, if any loss at all...
Ask Stryke what he has in stock at your price point, he is the guy to ask about watches here.
