A good friend asked me to service his IWC GST he got 10 years ago which was a daily wear piece and never been serviced. I hired a Rolex certified watchmaker last fall after he retired from working at a NYC Rolex dealer for 18 years. Anyways, I had him fully service and refinish this piece in 4 days start to finish. Many of the scratches were very deep but I think he did a great job. It is a tricky finish to work with. Some before and after pics below.
