Ferrari Chairman Lifetime Rolex Fan.
I just found this online and it was interesting since its car related and wanted to share.
"Luca Cordero di Montezemolo is the Chairman of Ferrari and Fiat. He has had an amazing career filled with many achievements and in 2010 we will be taking a close look at his incredible career. In this photo from the early 1970s we see Luca sporting his now trademark Pepsi Rolex GMT-Master.
In this recent photo we see Luca still sporting his now vintage trademark Pepsi Rolex GMT-Master. Luca has been sporting his Pepsi Rolex GMT for at-least 4 decades!!!
In this next photo we see Ferrari Chairman, Luca Cordero di Montezemolo introducing the all-new 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia "
It's interesting to see a man that crossed many partnerships with watch manufactures for Ferrari (GP,Panerai and now Hublot) that still wears his old Rolex GMT to this day. much respect.
For a person in his position you would think he wears an A Lange or Patek phillipe complications at this age and position though he sticks to a very simple Rolex gmt.

He's got such cool style. That second photo says it all. He manages to wear a suit without looking like a "suit". He's showing a little tattoo, he's got some cool leather bracelets going on and obviously the cool watch. Not to mention an awesome job. Respect.

Awesome post. This is a fine example of the man making the watch- not the other way around.
A vintage GMT pepsi dial is the watch that first got me into watches. My friend's father had one. I remember the first time he let me try it on. He told me how it was his father's. His dad had worn it daily and through hard work building their business. The crystal was beat to hell with each scratch like a chapter in a novel, bezel faded- and that's what captivated me. I loved the weight of the watch and the second hand that paced calmly about the circumference of the dial.
