pilot is the daily, sporty, goes with everything watch

both are great
cannot go wrong with either

i would personally choose based on one question alone:
how frequently am i wearing the iwc with a dishdasha

 

Get the normal pilot not the chrono

Portofino x10. Never been a fan of IWC:s pilot watches, except for their new Spitfire chrono.

 

both are gorgoeus

cant go wrong with either of them

but as boursachi mentioned the portofino is more formal and the pilot is sportier

i am literally broke the only iwc i would buy as of now is the ME LE to 70pcs perpetual huge mistake trying it on at 360 mall. that kind of dough is PP 5726 money though, or even AP Bumble with spare, or damn a Bumble AND a RO ORRRR at least 60% of what a 997tt would fetch if i can afford it in 2 yrs

so you can see my dilemma

hence, Mayoof should get one and fedex it to me whenever i require

 

I think the chrono suits it as its a sportier model.


Thats what I was considering as well, I wouldn't rock a pilot with a Thoub or "dishdasha" as you call it and I don't think it goes so well with a suit.
