I never been a watch guy, and wouldn't consider myself one just yet, but I did get my first watches. The first one was the Nixon Chronicle SS in all matte black. I lusted after the watch for a month and finally ended getting it!



BUT! After getting it sized and living with it for a day it was simply too loose for me. So I had to take it back and get a bigger one. Which surprisingly fits perfectly. The Nixon 51-30 Tide in gunmetal grey/black.



I know it's not everyone's style. but I am very happy with it.

 

I saw the pics of the first one that you posted on fb. I actually like the second one more.

 

Lol that's what everyone has said so far. I'm starting to think so as well.

 

I think in the long run it will age better then the flat black one.
