Patek Philippe Exhibition in Dubai...

Anyone know how patek does it's ref numbers? I know there are a lot of similarities, like xx70 is often a manual perpetual calendar with chrono (5970, 5270,3970), but like 5070 is just manual chrono. Like the 5207, that is a perpetual calendar, tourbillon, minute repeater, but the 5205 is just an AC. I do see the similarities in the cases; however, and they both have aperture style calendar. Just wondering if anyone know how they did their ref. and/or had a place to direct me. Hopefully it will make it easier to keep all these numbers straight.
Love the darker dial...

That's the watch. Damn. Two days ago I had the dark one on again. The lighter with a brown strap is what I was thinking but the face color has a little too much black to pull off the brown.
Love those watches. Damn.

)Well I don´t care if so

Interesting. I think the opposite. For some reason I think it's a far cry from their classic design. The rings add edge and I think it's the freshest feel they have.

that was my exact thought! So, I agree that the case style, and size (not many pateks 40mm or larger) makes this a more modern and youthful PP.

Do you have a pic? I bet the lighter one on a dark brown strap would look awesome.
