40 or smaller just feels comical nowadays, but yeah I think 46mm is kind of a perfect size. 48 is indeed huge.

Hope there'll be a great depreciation on the former models, so I can sooner afford one

I'm drooling over the top gun chrono miramar

Sadly IWC actually rose their prices ~10% in the summer of 2011 and there will obviously be an increase when the new models hit.

^^ Agree with you 100%. However, what looks comical obviously not only depends on the size of the watch but also on the wristsize. On most ppl imo 40-42 is the ideal size and I dare say a lot of people agree with me on this. For example, Rolex Daytona and Omega Speedmaster are among the most popular watches out there...

Agreed

38-42 is excellent. My beater LT is 44, and feels big. I'll probably convert it to one of the new 40m they have.

this is exactly why i bought my PAM instead of pilot chrono, there were rumours of the revamp last fall, didn't want "last years" model 6 months after purchase

I'm glad they brought back the single chrono Top Gun but 46MM is too big. 44mm was good before

Mark XVII at 41mm is much better than the previous 38mm

i think the pilot chrono is still the best bet and perfect size 43mm
