47mm Heaven!
I received my 372 last week and took some really poor shots last night when winding everything....
I almost feel a sense of completeness here.....

Yes, My 127 is worn a lot. It really amazing how different the 127 and 372 are (even though they share two numbers :-) ) I guess i didnt notice until I had them side by side.
The 372 is all polished, while the 172 has polished and brushed case parts. The crystal is less domed, obviously sue to the different materials, but it gives the watch dials a much different visual appearance in person. Movements and winding - you cannot compare - the in house 3 day in the 372 is like butter compared to the 127. The two watches wear differently and I never would have expected the 127 to feel bigger on the wrist, but it does.
The 372 has a bit more "vintage" feel to it - I realize this is by design - but I always felt the 127 would fit this bill by itself.
I was apprehensive of owning both these pieces together, but after seeing them side by side - I would not have it any other way. Perfect companions.....along with their Radiomir cousins.
I am a happy Panerai collector these days.
Best,
asg

Beautiful collection. I'm seriously considering picking up a 305, but the 372 is extremely tempting. The hand wind is the main deterrent (that and the price compared to the 305
) as IMHO the hand wind can be a bit of a hassle for daily use.
LOVE that Radiomir Cali!!!

Thanks gents -
Yes, 127, 339, 372, 232, 249
And, if a watch isnt hand wind, I'm typically not interested. If you dont wind your watch everyday, what's the point? Buy a casio.
Especially from panerai - and the 372 - its the new in-house 3 day movement (well, semi new) - all the mroe reason to buy one.

Interesting perspective on hand wind watches. I have worn both self-winding and hand wind watches and I feel like the screw down gaskets/seals that make them waterproof will start to wear out if moved around too much. I have a few nice pieces, but typically stick with wearing one piece a majority of the time. If I pick up the 305 or 372, it will most likely be put into almost daily use.
Is there any validity to my concerns about wearing out seals over extended use? How about the durability of the movement in the 305 vs the 372 for daily use?
Thank you for any input.
