Went to Gearys of BH today. After wearing my brothers gold daytona I really started to miss my WG Daytona so I went to look at the WG Daytona w/ Panda Dial. It really has a beautiful face and I like that it has lume on the arabic numbers as well. Was considering a yellow/rose gold but I typically thing its too flashy for me but I really like the yellow, I saw the Rose gold for the first time and realized its too feminine and I dont like it. Looks good in pics but not in person imo. More women buy the rose gold as well.
IMO a collection can be composed of whatever you want it to be. What makes you happy or why are you collecting? history? chronographs? meaningful to you? Nowhere in the definition of collection does it define why or what you collection has to be made up of.
PANDA FACE WG/ Daytona - this especially cause the lume on the arabic #s or the black face wg ^ are the bests imo
Was looking to see one of these in person, sportier the the YG with Black face

My man - take the bracelet off and get a NATO. This is not my pic or watch - I took it off the web using a google search.
There are vast choices for these types of straps. I think they look great. I have one Omega speedmaster on a NATO and like it for weekend duty.

Not really a watch guy but I don't think any collection requires anything. asg has nailed it in his posts as far as I'm concerned. There are dbags out there with everything, no one can escape it. Mathematics would suggest the more of something that is produced, the more dbags will have it.
I have a green bezel sub which I love. I don't get into fancy movements and such I just like something that looks good and works. Would love to have a WG Daytona with a nice face sometime. RG is awesome but I don't think I could pull it off.

lots of places claim that. It doesn't mean the top 15 guys in the company don't split the millions at the end of the year in bonuses to keep non profit status

I've also never once dissed the watch maker themselves although there are only two or three I would wear. I own one of those as well. I am a douche tho so SEE most are douche.
I stand behind my claim that a watch collection NEVER has to have a Rolex. I watch collection should have a Patek. After all didn't those two cats make the first wrist watch? Maybe a Bregeut because they are the first makers of most of the original movements?
But in all honesty a collection of Swatches to me is a watch collection. Anytime someone loves watches and buys them in mass they are a true collector in my book whether $80 bucks each or $80k each.
