Top companies have paid JLC to make movements for their watches for a long time, from Patek, AP and Vacheron. I know just recently AP stopped using JLC's movement in the ROO. They make some beautiful and classy watches. So I was wondering why they dont get much love from what I have seen? Even some of their higher complications and tourbillons can be had for much less than whats offered from the other top guys. Also why is their resale terrible? They take a huge hit in the aftermarket. Is there just not enough demand?

Personally I love JLC and there are many of their models Im totally in love with. Just look at their brand new Master Chronograph with black dial

^ I was all set to go and decided to call and see if they had a master calendar in stock. They do... In RG. Luckily I called an hour each way would suck for no reason. So, I am either going up to Toronto (Solaris jewelers - maybe they'll let me try on a Lange) or waiting until jan when I'm in DC to check it out.
