Service is truly overpriced no matter how they spin it... However, lacking a local trusted jeweler/watchmaker most have no choice. Generally for mid-high end pieces you are looking at $4-500+ for standard service at the OEM.

^ I have only had my IWC a short time, so I am not sure. I have seen people on IWC forums say $750-$1000 but I cannot verify. Seems high!
Additionally, I get a kick out of IWC adds. Who else says "engineered for men" in every ad??
