Teamspeed Discount for Breitling Service?

Fellow watch aficionados - just wondering,

Does anyone on here, sponsors or otherwise, know of any Teamspeed discount for Breitling service/overhaul?

My Emergency is due for maintenance and the going rate seems quite steep - $380 - for a non-mechanical (superquartz) movement timepiece.

The service is gaskets/seals, batteries, and a polish up/cleaning. The ELT test failed the other day while in the aircraft, so I'm not in a huge rush but I'd like to have it working again soon.

Any help?

^^ Oh fvck!! Yeah um, hopefully it's just the battery and not the ELT which is broken. Again, the scary part is.... how would I know?

Now I'm scared.

I wouldn't sweat it, I'm sure that incident was a one off occurrence, I have never owned a Breitling so can't speak to their service but hopefully a reputable shop would have your back if problems arise.

Do Breitlings have to go back to the manufacturer for service as do other brands?
the positive side of that is you should get another year warranty tacked on.

Yeah, they should be serviced at a Breitling service station since it's considered a "life saving device". They give you a 12 month warrantee after the fact, which is nice. Service is supposed to happen every 24 cal. months, but I bought mine second-hand so I have no idea when it was performed last.
