Golfing watch

Golfing watch
Hello dear Teamspeeders,
I was on the course some time ago, and it keeps irritating me not to have a watch on. (I hate not knowing wat time it is).
Now the reason that I don't wear a watch while golfing is that I used to do before (when I still had a cheap ass quartz Festina watch) and it broke while golfing (bracelet broke on impact once, and hours also changed once and a while after some time on the course). Now that I have a Frederique Constant (which for me was quite a purchase, I'm only 23 you see) I will surely not wear it while playing.
So now I was thinking about the next watch that I was going to buy and how that I'd want it to be golfproof, was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.
For me a watch needs to be Swiss, have an automatic movement, be waterproof, and in this case also golf proof.
If there was a 'specific' golf watch out there it would be an added bonus.

Weird. I've never had that problem. I wear whatever I want to be honest, but if you want a real golf watch there's always this TAG. Tight and light enough around the wrist to not get in the way.

You a Nick in Fanders/Wallonia/BXL? I spend 50/50 of my time between homes in BE/NL. And yeah, I "play" golf. Officially, i'm a member at Bossenstein but I hardly have time to play golf though, so I'm no good. I just go there for the food now.

Nice suggestion, will look into it.
I'm living in Brussels, working in Flanders and often in the Netherlands for Business too (Etten-Leur, Breda, Rotterdam 1 times per 2 weeks)
I've been struggling to find time to play lately, but recently I decided that I will go play minimum 1 time a month, and try to practice once too.
I'll PM you when I'm passing by your club if you feel like hitting some drives or so

Personnally I don't see the point of paying the price for a swiss watch but getting a mass produced quartz movement. (just personal preference ofcourse)

This would be excellent, if it were not for the price

One of golf’s greats, Seve Ballesteros is suffering from a brain tumor. This tragic news comes at the same time as the launch of a special watch, a Ballesteros namesake. Made by Ballesteros and Jaermann & Stubi, the watch includes a case carved out of the golf clubs used by Seve to win the Chunichi Crowns Open in 1991. The 50 assembled Seve Ballesteros limited series watches will have an automatic movement, will have the number of the golf club used embossed at the back and the dial color is Seve’s favourite dark blue. It also has Jaermann & Stubi’s signature, a very handly mechanical golf counter. I’m pretty sure it will attract a lot of golf lovers. Rich golf lovers, that is, because the estimated is 21,500 Swiss Francs.

apparently it is posing some issues though. I don't think Audermans would do special testing otherwise

This is not an official timepiece yet, but Audemars Piguet has been testing a new version of their Royal Oak watch. Here Clarke is seen accepting the trophy for winning the 2011 British Open tournament. On his wrist is the prototype Royal Oak golf timepiece. The official name of the watch is not yet known.
The prototype model is also made in titanium – the idea is that it not only hugs the wrist but is also very light so as not to interfere with activities such as golf. Part of the testing involves determining the timepiece’s shock resistance. This is particularly an issue in golf as shock occurs the moment the club hits a ball and travels to the wrist.
It seems though that any watch that will comply with all my demands will be out of my price range for quite some time still
dreaming never hurt anyone did it
