Struggling to decide on one piece, looking for some thoughts.
I'll be getting married soon, and having proposed to my fiance, my to be in-laws have expressed their desire to include in part of my gift, a timepiece of my choosing. Typically, the in-laws would come close to equaling the value of the ring in the form of the watch, but I'm not going to let them try to match it, it's not right to do that. So I have whittled it down to some options that fall in the 30-45 range. So I'm struggling with several options, would appreciate some thoughts. To me, each of these 5 has a different appeal, it's hard to decide.
For this piece, it's not so much that I want something for me, but something that will stand the test of time, as I would treat this more like an heirloom piece than my normal pieces.
All of my pieces are either steel or white gold, and most are IWCs, so I have strong bias, but would ideally want to branch out a little with this one.
Just to give some context, current collection consists of several iwc variants (bp, portuguese auto, portuguese chrono, portofino from the modern vintage) and SS daytona.
Thanks for any substantive thoughts or suggestions on some other pieces that I may be overlooking.

Yeah to be honest, the Nautilus doesn't blow me away, but I'm not much of a Patek buff, some of the other pieces I looked at push 6 figures.

I wasn't expecting this type of response either, but my to-be mother in law called me and mentioned the perpetual calendar, as she's seen me with IWCs, apparently they are looking in that range.

Good point. IMHO in that price range, the IWC perpetual calendar would be my choice. What a great position to be in....I don't seem to remember my in-laws making that offer to me
Best of luck with your decision
