I've been saying this for 10 years. I've spoken with very high management within Rolex about this. All they say is - we appreciate the comments, but at Rolex, we do not feel the need to rush towards any market trends. We are classic, our watches are classic and have established the standards for sports watches.
Funny though that they tossed a ceramic bezel on a RG daytona - Can you say Hublot?
Still - the new explorer is great. Some new pateks are great. all in all - not too exciting, but more to come.
