Cartier - Calibre & Santos 100
My new favorites! The Calibre in rose gold with the brown face has me drooling! My #1 choice.
Calibre looks good in stainless with the black face too but I prefer the Santos 100 in stainless with yellow gold over that. I think that could be my next watch. I like the square face and has a masculine feeling to it.
My only watch right now is a Rolex Daytona in White Gold with black face and red marks.
choice 1 but more than im looking to spend

Choice 2

I really like Cartier watches.
The Calibre caught my eye last year when it was released.
It features Cartier's first in-house movement.
I optioned to get a Hublot and IWC Big Pilot this year so far instead. But it is still at the top of my list.
I really don't see paying the price tag for the all gold case version.
I think it is a little gaudy and you are just paying for the precious metal - the movements are the same throughout the line.
This two tone is half the price and looks smashing!

Currently, I own two Cartier Watches.
Pasha De Cartier in Yellow Gold.

And a yellow gold and stainless two-tone Ballon Bleu XL.

I think that Cartier watches are super classy and wear well with business casual or formal dress.

^no question you end up paying for the precious metal and the "extra" for the top model. But you cant say that the rose gold and brown is just so gorgeous! I need to go try #2 and #3 on again. But since I have a white gold watch with wg band...it would be nice to have a leather band watch in brown...its a little more sporty.
Gorgeous watches btw!!!

I have a few all gold watches or I would likely be more interested.
I think that the Calibre is the best looking watch that Cartier has made since the Pasha line.
It is also extra exciting because it is their first movement developed and built in-house.
You cannot go wrong with that watch.
And thanks for the compliments!!

#3 is my favorite out of that group. I like the santos, but not with gold on the bezel. I like this santos better...

^ that is a very nice combo as well....I want a watch with a brown leather band and the watch needs something to flow with that...
AD? what or who is that?

Authorized Dealer.
I understand why Raiff doesn't want to go through an AD - you lose a lot of any discount you might get.
However - personally - I would only buy a fine watch from an AD.
It will cost a bit more, but Cartier ADs really treat you right.
I fell once and really scratched the face of my Pasha. I was heartbroken.
I took it into the Cartier store in Costa Mesa and asked if they could buff out the deep scratches.
They said the scratches were too deep to buff out but that they would gladly replace the watch.
They gave me an entirely new unit. Amazing.
Sine then, I have been pretty sold on dealing on with ADs.
