Bremont p-51... yay or nay?

Whats the general consensus on Bremont? You guys dig em? Is it a good brand?

This is the first I heard of them... but I absolutely love the way the p-51 looks and the history behind it.

The P-51 will be limited to 251 pieces and will be built with original parts from the famous 1944 Mustang WWII aircraft P-51K-10.

Never heard of it. Good looking watch though.

Price point?

Very cool. I just sent this to a buddie who works in aviation. If you are a fly boy then pick it up for sure.

Nah, not a fly boy... but have a great interest in aviation and the WWII era bombers.

I believe the price is supposed to be around 11k.

That movement looks cool... does the propeller turn as well?

I like it a lot, but not for 11K. Is that retail? I'm sure you could get a discount if so.

Not sure yet Z. Its a limited edition and hasn't been released.

Its a damn nice looking piece though. I do agree, a bit steep at 11k.

Bremont is among my favorites of the lesser-known brands. Their aesthetic value comes from details in the architecture of the watch itself and I really dig that.

You guys should check out what they have to offer.

SoCal is an unknown quantity at this point
Bremont is a good brand, but for the $$, you could do a hell of a lot better IMO. Good luck, whatever you decide to do.
