I've heard that they can scratch quiet easily.

Did you watch the video? they say its military grade and won't scratch easily. Do you think they are lying?

I didnt watch the video, I read about it a long time ago. I had an old watch I wanted to send abroad to have it done all black.

I have a couple of PVD coated watches, and they are very scratch resistant. I am considering wearing one for a 3 month tour in Iraq to see how it holds up.

PVD is the easily scratchable surface of the two - DLC is resistant to just about everything, but it's glossy and not as 187, yo.

When I picked up my PVD the sales guy was very clear in stating "this is not an every day watch"
