Having owned more Rolexes than I care to admit, a few Cartiers, Panerai, and currently an AP ROO Rubberclad, I cannot agree more, except for the fac that if you want to use it and not spend too much, there truly is one choice: Rolex. Want to impress everyone? Patek. Want flashy without the price (relatively speaking): Cartier. Been there, done that, go the bills to prove. Forget skeleton and go with Rolex, but if you insist on skeletonized watches, then go with AP.

Mike I was ordering that Oris as well. If I get it will you consider it copying? its a beauty for a $1k watch. we do live a few miles apart so I don't see is showing at the same events wearing it. I will call first if we do go to same place

Normally yes, but for you Marc - I'll let it slide We can make out a time table on what days you will be wearing it, so we won't be seen with the same watch

Yeah, I just sold one last week.....it was a custom order, our customer was veryyyyy pleased and a collector. We generally do not carry this in stores either....
this is around 40k

But for that price range, id go for
Cartier online store, luxury watches and jewelry online

^^^ I personally would never pay 40K for a Cartier. In that snack bracket I would do a Richard Mille, rose gold AP, or a patek.

Went on impulse and bought this today. I'll post a pic of the Oris in a bit.

beautiful watch Mike. Personally love the Cartier's. I think they have a lot of class and style.

Great choice Mike, not many watch brands do PVD/RG, great 21st century approach to two-tone IMO.
