The Invicta would be a waste of money.

It is way below your range, but I love my Citizen Nighthawk.

I agree with Chris. I have 4 Lum-Tecs, 3 of which are automatics. They are a great watch, and keep very good time. I wouldn't get a Tag F1; I had 2 and sold them both because they weren't beefy enough for me. Lum-Tec watches let you know that something is one your wrist. Or you could save your money and get a Panerai; now there is a great watch!

ya, you can find some preowned marina automatics for 3-4k...definitely worth the wait to get a watch you will definitely have for the rest of your life...
