I have heard many people call the the 127 "fiddy", why is that Gil?

kind of slang term for 50.

thats my take on it.

Cabman is correct. It is a 1950 case with 1950 pieces made in a Special Edition back in 2003 so for short it is called the "Fiddy".

As Jaime said, it is a very versatile piece and looks great with almost anything.

Is that a limited edition 1950? I was looking on the Pam website and all the 1950s look different. That is a beautiful set-up.
