Rolex Daytona - Stainless Steel/White

After watching Rolex 24 Hours last weekend, been thinking about adding a SS Daytona to my collection. What is the going rate for a new one or excellent condition used?

Call a few AD's. Due to the very bad economy, some have them available at retail with no discount. 9925+tax. Used between 8500 to 9500.

I feel the same way. But it sure is funny and sad that AD's are calling up customers offering them Daytona's at retail. Many are passing on them as far as I know.
