So something modern, not yellow or rose gold on a bracelet is your ideal watch.
There is the most obvious, Rolex Daytona in white gold, but that might be a little too classic.
A titanium AP Royal Oak Offshore on bracelet wouldn't be a bad choice.
Although I'm not a big fan, you can go for a Hublot Big Bang, although I've never seen one on a bracelet.
You can go for a Panerai. They all look the same (IMHO again, not trying to start an argument), just buy whatever one you like that comes on a bracelet in a size to fit your wrist.
There is also the Patek Philippe Aquanaut and Nautilus. I don't have any experience with these, but I do know the PP snobs frown upon them. Still, from pics and reviews online, it seems like the people who have them are happy.
Lastly, my favorite, Richard Mille RM series watches...but these only come on strap and a few of the models may be out of your budget.
I think an AP Royal Oak Offshore or one of the Pateks is probably a solid choice with the Panerai not too far behind. If you want to be "safe", go for the Rolex.

Watches are not like cars where you often want the latest model possible. The Alinghi Team was the first ever CF cased watch and was a limited ediiton that sold out instantly.

watches are not like cars or clothes...or cellphones...
Panerai,IWC,Breitling,Fortis and Rolex would be my favourites.
sorry to say,but imo only guidos want to wear super modern flashy watches which are preferrably expensive...to show off
the Carbon Fiber watches posted above are not bad though
