I've got the Audemars ROO fever.

MeanMachine - If you don't mind me asking, why did you choose the rubberclad over the steel bezel "themes"? I am currently thinking about getting an AP, but kinda torn. Some say that if you daily wear (which I would) the rubberclad, the bezel eventually gets shiney and worn down looking.
Any thoughts? Can anyone share some experience?
P.S. - Beautiful watch! White face is DEFINITELY the ticket!

MeanMachine: the ONLY reason why I am responding is because a few pages ago you asked for opinions (good or bad). In my opinion, the leather band does not look as well as I thought it would. Its just my opinion. Nice, but not my cup of tea.
I do sincerely wish you the best of luck with your Rubberclad. Mine, well, lets just say it has been a major disappointment to say the least. The last of the "issues" I have had with it is the "rubber" chipping off the bezel! I swear on anyones' grave that I have NEVER hit the watch. If you look closely, you know another piece is going to fly off pretty soon. Sure, nothing that $1K would not fix (ouch!), but after losing 30% of its purchase price (bought used) in a year, well, lets just say I am not too inclined to sink any more money into it. Most of the time it just sits in my safe.
Pretty, sure, delicate, heck yeah! Be extremely gentle with it....

^^ That would drive me absolutely nuts.
I'm a freak when it comes to things like that... Sadly I would probably never wear it anymore if that had happened to me.
MM, be careful with your watch! I hope you don't go through a similar story as GOB

I have NEVER dropped my watch. A few months ago, I wore the watch to a business trip and noticed that it had a very small piece sticking out right next to the glass, but I did not want to mess with it. A few hours later, it apparently got caught with the cuff of my shirt and never saw it again! I once got caught in a rainstorm and got drenched. Next day, the watch looked "cloudy"! I have worn the watch in boats, but never gotten into a pool or ocean with it (not sure if it would handle it!). This all before the bezel incident. I got the watch from a very reputable seller, but a few months into ownership, had to send it in for service due to the fact that it would run too slow (very inaccurate) and would not hold power reserve for an entire night!(still doesn't from time to time). As you can see, I am not overjoyed with it to say the least. I would be a lot tougher on the 6+ other Rollies I used to have and never had any issues with them.
