Cleaning rubber straps

I have a B&R BR01-94 with the rubber strap, and was wondering how I should clean the strap. As a dentist I wear gloves and some of the powder on the gloves stays on the strap. So curious as the best thing to use to clean them. Any suggestions?

He's a dentist, I'm sure he'll use an Oral-B Triump
